Ananda Kumari Rai, 29, a resident at Kharsu of Diding9 has been killed by husband Man Kumar Rai on February 14.

Husband killed Ananda Kumari, who had pregnancy of nine months by beating and strangulating her, police said. 

SI Shyam Raut, who, returned to district headquarters after observing the incident site, said Man Kumar killed his wife in the course of a family dispute. Police arrested accused on February 15.

The Rai couple has three daughters.
