Cadres of Janata Samajbadi Party have burnt the effigy of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli  in Dhansha and Saptari demanding the repeal of the proposed bill to grant naturalized citizenship to a foreign woman marrying a Nepali citizen after seven years.

The protestors alleged that the government had dared to sever ties with India by passing the bill in a conspiratorial manner.

Minor clash was erupted between the protesters and police at  Janaandolan Chowk, Saptari while burning effigy.
