Man arrested on the charge of attacking with shovel in Syangja

Police on Thursday night arrested 47-year-old Dipak Gurung on the charge of attacking 40-year-old Ram Bahadur Damai of Arjunchaupari Rural Municipality-1 with a shovel. A police team deployed from Police Post Arjunchaupari arrested Gurung after receiving the information that Damai sustained an injury by his attack. Gurung was under the influence of alcohol during the incident. Injured Damai has been referred to Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara, after undergoing treatment at Kalika Community Hospital, Helu. Police are carrying out further investigation.
