Jamuna BK, 29, of Pokhara in Khalanga VDC-6 was married to Gangaram Budha, 31, 10 years ago. She has four children refused to be owned by her in-laws. According to Jamuna, Gangaram came home for dashain from Himanchal Pradesh in India where they had settled down following family disapproval of their marriage. However, following the pressure from his relatives, he got married to a woman from his own community, Bhawana Budha. When Jamuna came to the village searching for him, Gangaram and Bhawana fled and remain out of contact. She is facing the problem of supporting her children as the in-laws have refused to let her in for she being a dalit. R
