Menuka Shrestha, 26, of Kharang VDC-1 has lodged a complaint at Women and Children Office on March 24 against her husband Nara Bahadur Shrestha, 30, accusing him of polygamy. The victim said that she had an arrange marriage with Nara Bahadur on March 7, 2007. After that she had been treated inhumanely continuously by the accused. She further said that she was compelled to lodge a complaint after her husband married with another woman on February 13. The legal process has been initiated according to the Women development officer Pratima Panthi.
