The Public Affairs Committee and residents of Khokna have padlocked the office of Ward 21 of Lalitpur Metropolitan City on Saturday protesting against police crackdown on locals who had gone to plant paddy on their land last week. Some locals who had gone to plant paddy were injured when police clashed with them. Farmers had started planting paddy in the Khudol field on July 3 and 4 and have decided to continue paddy planting.
