Representatives of the employees' unions working in the Oil Nepal Corporation have clashed. Bikas Bakhati, Chief of Store Branch Department, has been accused of beating Bhairav Rawal, Senior Assistant at Finance Department, who went to the store on Wednesday afternoon to collect goods.
Rawal is a central member of the NCP-supported corporation's employees' union, while Bakhati is the President of the Congress-supported corporation's employees' union.
After the incident, the NCP-backed employees' union issued a statement claiming that Bakhati had beaten Rawal. The statement issued by the Union's General Secretary, Madhumas Pun stated that Bakhati punched Rawal in his neck and back and made him injured when he went to Store Department to collect essential materials for Fund Department.
Representatives of the NCP- supported employees' union have also complained about the incident to Executive Director Surendra Kumar Poudel to take action against Bakhti.
