Man kills elderly uncle in Kaski

On July 12, police arrested Nawraj Sapkota on the charge of murdering 78-year-old Pitamber Sapkota of Ghumnung in Madi-4 on Saturday night. Nawaraj, who is Pitamber's nephew, reportedly attacked his uncle with a khukuri regarding the dispute about the grass in the field. Pitambar died on the spot whereas another elderly man, Keshav Raj Sapkota is also injured in the incident and undergoing treatment in Manipal Hospital, Pokhara.
