Police pressures man assaulted by ward chairperson in Dhanusha to reconcile

Diplal Mahato of Gaushala-12 Mahottari district has accused Area Police Dhalkebar of pressing him to reconcile instead of filing a complaint against Sanjiv Yadav, Ward Chairperson of Dhanushadham Municipality-9, who according to Mahato physically assaulted him three weeks ago over a land-related dispute. According to Mahato, Area Police Office Dhalkebar has refused to register a complaint against the ward chairperson and his two brothers who beat and injured him.
