Morang/ March 31 The District Court of Morang has slapped 40 years of imprisonment to two accused on March 31 on charge of their involvement in human trafficking. A single court in session by district judge Shekhar Prasad Paudel gave the verdict against Radhika BK, alias Ranjita, 27, and Manisha Siwakoti, 25. They were convicted of trafficking two women from Biratnagar Sub-metropolis on November 27, 2013 and were imprisoned for 20 years each. The court also ordered them to pay a compensation of Rs 100,000 to each victim. Another accused Prakash Siwakoti, 26, husband of Manisha was imprisoned for 20 years on charge of his involvement in the trafficking, said District attorney Prakash Gautam.
