The school management committee of Janata Secondary School in Golanjor Rural Municipality-5, Sindhuli, padlocked the school on July 22 for an indefinite period because of a dispute over the appointment of Suman Koirala as Principal.

Ward Chairman Buddhi Bahadur Palpali said that during the formation of the school management committee, they agreed to appoint the chairman of the committee and the parents' association from Nepal Communist Party(NCP) and the principal of the school from Nepali Congress but now some people from the committee affiliated to CPN padlocked the school demanding to appoint a principal of their choice.
