Police have arrested 27-year-old Ishwor Bhandari and 23-year-old Dorna Giri of Bagchaur Municipality Ward-2, Kharibot on July 25 on the charge of assaulting police personnel. Bhandari, who had consumed alcohol and was riding a motorbike abused, assaulted the jeep driver heading towards Bagchaur Municipality from Dang. Meanwhile, when they were being interrogated about the incident they assaulted police officers posted at a temporary police post of the same municipality as well.  

Police are further investigating the incident.
