Tarun Dal, a sister wing of Nepali Congress, staged a demonstrated in Jhalari town of Kanchanpur on Sunday, demanding the release of their arrested cadres. Police have arrested the six cadres of Tarun Dal on Sunday in connection to the assault on Ward Chairperson Bahadursingh Dhami of Suklaphanta Municipality-8, Kanchanpur. Police had arrested Narad Thagunna, Mansingh Thagunna, Bashant Thagunna, Navin Thagunna and Ananda Thagunna on the charge of attacking ward chairperson Mahara.
