Agitated locals clashed with police in Bauniya town of Bardagoriya Municipality, Kailali, after a woman died in a traffic accident.

According to the Area Police Office, Sukhad, the police fired 40 shells of tear gas and used batons during the clash. Locals have blocked the east-west highway by placing the dead body on the road. 26-year-old Santoshi Bohora died on Monday morning when a truck with number plate Na 6 Kha 3340 hit her scooter.
