On July 23, 72-year-old Krishna Kumari Ale died when a 17-year-old teenager from Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality-3 hit her on the head with a stone in an argument. Ale was returning after watering field.

District Police Chief SP Surendra Bahadur Gurung said that the teenager was arrested on July 26 with the help of villagers. The police have not released the name of the arrested teenager. The family of the deceased filed an FIR against him. According to the police, the accused has also confessed to the crime.
