Police arrested 11 people for smuggling woods from a national forest of Rapti Rural Municipality Ward-4 and recovered 15 sets of wood logs of Sal tree from them.
According to the police, action has been taken against them on the charge of smuggling and arrested are; 18-year-old Shishir Shahi, and Rahul Bhusal, 19-year-old Shekhar Thapa and Hem Thapa, 20-year-old Sanjeev BK, 21-year-old Manoj Shrestha, 24-year-old Durga Thapa, 25-year-old Bir Bahadur Wali, and Prakash Kumal, 27-year-old Bishnu Giri and 36-year-old Tilak Nepali. They assaulted 2 on-duty policemen, constable Man Bahadur Sunar and Tilak KC injuring them.
