It has been found that Bhupal Khadka, the branch manager of NMB Microfinance Financial Institution at the old base camp in Diktel microfinance company operating in Diktel Bazaar threatened to arrest the service recipients belonging to Lalupathe Women's Group in Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadi Municipality-1. The last time they could not save because of the lockdown, they went to ask for a refund. The group said that the mayor, chief district officer and police were also informed about the indecent behaviour of the manager Khadka. The mayor and the police administration have assured them that the problem will be resolved through discussion.
Branch Manager Khadka, on the other hand, said that there was a general dispute with the women's group over the issue of the loan. They have demanded the dismissal of the group itself and the microfinance even started the process as per their demand.
Mayor Deepnarayan Rijal said that discussions were being held on the issue of microfinance as complaints were received from women's groups.
