Two arrested for murdering a senior citizen in Taplejung

Police on August 3 arrested 60-year-old Pemba Lakpa Sherpa and his niece 54-years-old Pasang Lhamu Sherpa on the charge of murdering 62-year-old Phurwagyabu Sherpa of Meringden Rural Municipality-5. Pemba Lakpa is the younger brother of the deceased elderly man. Phurwagyabu was found dead in his cowshed on July 27. Police arrested the two and upon investigations, they confessed to killing the elderly man.
