Part-time teachers working in Tribhuwan Multiple Campus in Palpa on Sunday padlocked the office of the campus chief demanding professional security in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. They said that they had been facing exploitation in the campus.
The president of the Part-time Teachers Association of Tribhuvan Multiple Campus, Krishna Ale said that the part-time teachers padlocked the campus as they are being treated unfairly while other professors are receiving salary just on the basis of their attendance. Tanka Prasad Bhattarai, newly appointed Campus Chief of Tribhuvan Multiple Campus, said that this is a nationwide problem and the University should find a way out.
