Rolpa/April 12 The District Police Office has arrested four persons on April 11 on charge of smearing balck on the face of one Naumali Pariyar, 30, of Reugha in Libang VDC-4 on charge of being witch. The victim had filed a complaint at the DPO on April 11 accusing her father-in-law, brother-in-law and neighbors of smearing black on her after gathering the villagers on April 10. Police arrested Lale Damain, Sukara Damai, Surbir Damai and Kaluram Damai following the victim's complaint. DSP Nabin Raj Rai said that investigation into the incident were ongoing.
