Nepal Students Union (NSU) vandalized the office of Tribhuvan University's (TU) Vice-Chancellor (VC), Registrar, and Department Head of Education as well as VC's office vehicle on August 11. They also pelted stones at the vehicle of vice chancellor's office.
NSU protested against TU officials for not addressing their demands and filing a case against NSU leader Yogendra Rawal in the Patan High Court on July 31. They have demanded to reach a decision soon after exploring internal assessments, online exam alternatives, and refrain from wasting student's academic year.
Earlier, the NSU Central Committee and the TU Committee repeatedly submitted memorandums to the TU urging them not to recruit ruling NCP leaders.
