11 Women Rescued from India

Nawalparasi, Bharat lagiyeka 11 jana mahila uddhar. Nawalparasi/April 16 Indian Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) has rescued 11 women from Tuthibari Nichlaul buspark along the Nepal-India border in Rampurawa VDC-7 while they were being trafficked on April 15. The women hail from Makawanpur, Sarlahi, Udaypur, Kathmandu, Sindhuli, Kaski, Nawalparasi, Gulmi and Gorkha districts. Indian SSB handed them over to the Nepali police after rescuing them. Prakash Giri, 38, of Pokhara, Kaski had taken them to India under the pretext of providing them employment. Police had inquired after Prakash did not return for a long time leaving them under the pretext of buying tickets. According to police, they would be handed over to their family through Maiti Nepal.
