Pressure cooker bomb found in Mahendranagar

On the night of August 12, a pressure cooker bomb was found at Sabjimandi Road of Bhimdatta Municipality Ward-4 of Kanchanpur, Mahendranagar market area. The bomb was defused by a Nepal Army team on the morning of August 13.
According to DSP Amar Bahadur Thapa of the District Police Office, a pamphlet of Tharuwan Autonomous District Council, Kanchanpur opposing the illegally constructed structure on the land of Mahendranagar City Development Committee was found at the incident spot. Police are investigating the incident.
