Nepali Congress stage demonstration in Mahendranagar

The Nepali Congress (NC) staged a protest saying that NC cadres were wrongfully convicted in the incident of fire in a cowshed in Chhireshwornath Municipality-2, Dhanusha. NC staged a protest in front of the Area Police Office, Mahendranagar, alleging that the police registered a false case under the pressure of NCP leader and Member of the House of Representatives Raghuvir Mahaseth against Congress cadres Debu Yadav and Suresh Yadav for seeking political revenge in the fire incident at the house of local NCP leader Palti Devi Yadav on August 8. Stating that NC cadres are not involved in the incident, Congress demanded the police to release the arrested persons, investigate the facts and take action against the culprits.
