Ten Years Imprisonment in Gang Rape Case

Makwanpur,samuhik balatkaarka aaropitharulaai 10 barsha kaid. Makwanpur/ April 18 The District Court of Makwanpur has slapped 10 years of imprisonment to the six accused of gang rape. They were charged for gang raping on 16-year-old girl. The court has also ordered Rs 50,000 each from the accused as a compensation to the victim. A single court by District judge Basudev Paudel gave his verdict on April 17. Laxman Khatri, 22, of Hetauda Municipality-5, Kancha Ram Syangtan, 18, of Bhimphedi VDC-6, Hom Bahadur Syangtan, 25, of Aambhanjyang VDC-7, Shri Hari Aryal of Chitlang VDC-9 were charged of rape. Two of the other accused involved in an incident are at large, the police said. The accused gang raped a 16-year-old girl at Narayani Lodge of Hetauda Municipality on the night of June 22.
