70-year-old Hariram Pasi of Mayadevi Rural Municipality ward 8 of Kapilbastu died during a clash over cleaning a water drain in Kapilbastu district on Sunday. 60-year-old Subhavati Pasi and 20-year-old Sonu Pasi were injured in the incident. SSP Rajkumar Baidwar said that they sustained injuries on his head and various parts of his body and are undergoing treatment in Bhairahawa. According to State Police Spokesperson Baidwar, 22-year-old Anil Chamar argued with the deceased Hariram and injured Sonu Pasi at around 3:15 pm on Sunday. 61-year-old Baker Chamar, 64-year-old Chukuni Chamar, 19-year-old Maya Chamar, 25-year-old Sarita Chamar and 30-year-old Bijay Chamar were also involved in the argument. SSP Baidwar informed that necessary investigation is underway to control all those involved in the assault
