Kathmandu/ April 22 Bhakti Lama, 29, of Dudhauli VDC-3 in Sindhuli and living in Kathmandu Municipality-35, has lodged a complaint against her husband Heera Lama, 30, on April 21 at Women and Children Service center Kalimati, accusing him of severely beating her on April 20. The complaint states that her husband inflicted mental and physical torture upon her and depriving her of food and clothes. Heera and Bhakti were married in 2004 as per the social tradition. They have two kids. Inspector Sushila Pradhan of Women and Children Service Center said that investigation process has been initiated against the accused.
