A 29-year-old Lal Bahadur Tamang of Barhabise Municipality-9 has lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Barhabise, alleging that he was beaten by 41-year-old Bal Krishna Basnet, Nepali Congress No-1 Regional President of Barhabise Municipality-3 on August 17.
According to Sushila Pakhrin, Deputy Chief of Barhabise Municipality, the victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Barhabise on the same day.
DSP and Information Officer at the District Police Office Madhav Prasad Kafle said that a search is underway for the accused as he was absconding.
