The COVID-19 patients vandalized an isolation ward run by Pokhariya Hospital, Parsa on Tuesday night, accusing the hospital of discrimination in providing water, foods and other essential services.
The patients have complained that they were forced to sleep hungry for several nights due to poor arrangements. One of the health workers of Pokhariya Hospital said the management of the isolation ward is facing difficulties as the mayor, executive officer and some ward chairpersons are also infected with COVID-19.
