The District Police Office (DPO) has filed a case against a 46-year-old man of Toksel6 on February 17 on charge of raping his daughter-in-law.

DSP Sudam Kumar Sijapati of the DPO informed that the victim sought police help accusing that her father-in0law raped her while she was sleeping on February 13. The accused has been arrested by Area Police Office Katari, Udaypur and handed over to the DPO on February 15.

A rape case has been filed against the accused based on the health check-up reports prepared by the district hospital, police inspector Bheshraj Rijal said. He added that further investigation has been initiated after remanding him in custody.
