Rasuwa,UCPN-M karyakartako kutpitbata patrakaar ghaite. Rasuwa/April 29 UCPN-M cadres have beaten and injured two journalists in the evening of April 28. District president of the Federation of Nepali Journalist (FNJ) Som Tamang and joint secretary Malphurpa Tamang were thrashed by UCPN-M cadres at the UCPN-M district convention organized in Majgaun VDC building of Laharepauwa VDC. UCPN-M cadres close to Prem Tamang started sloganeering demanding that the close session of the convention be held the same day when the group close to the party establishment announced that it would be held the next day. FNJ district president Tamang was beaten when he tried to open the door to leave the hall. Journalist Malphurpa was also beaten when he tried to capture the picture of Som being beaten. District secretary of FNJ Thakur Adhikari said that the injured journalists were taken to Kathmandu in ambulance for treatment.
