Police have arrested Birendra Bogati of Dodhara Chandani for assaulting a security personnel and a local at Daiji chowk under Mahendra Highway in Kanchanpur.

Bogati was assaulting a local in Daiji, when Inspector Ishwori Dutt Bhatta who was on duty tried to stop Bogati. He instead attacked Police Inspector Ishwori Dutt Bhatta. Bogati was half naked when police arrested him.

Bogati has been taken under control by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and kept at the Area Police Office, Jhalari. Dharmendra Rawal, in-charge of the Area Police Office, Jhalari, said that action would be taken against Bogati for assaulting and behaving indecently towards the security personnel and the public.
