Nepali Congress leader injured in bottle attack by his friend in Pathari

Santosh Katuwal, Municipal Chairman and leader of Nepali Congress Youth organization of Pathari Shanishchhare has been seriously injured after being attacked with a bottle attack during a fight with his friend.
According to DSP Dilip Kumar Giri of Pathari Area Police Office, his friend Suman Karki hit Katuwal on the head with a bottle of liquor at Purbeli Hotel in Morang Patharishanischare Municipality-10 Jirikhimti on Wednesday night.
DSP Giri said that the injured Katuwal has been sent to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar for CT scan after having primary treatment at Pathari Hospital . Karki, who attacked Katuwal is also a cadre of Nepali Congress. Police said Karki is under police control.
