Rukum/April 28 A complaint has been filed against Bharat BK, 19, of Bafikot VDC-8 at District Police Office on April 27 on charge of marrying a minor girl. The complaint was filed by the relatives of Bismati BC, 15, of Syalpakha VDC-4 which informed that BK had eloped with the girl on April 25. Police arrested BK on the same day of complaint and informed that the case will be dealt with due legal procedures. Claiming that elopement of underage boy and girl to elope was normal in the villages, BK’s family claimed that the complaint was filed because it was an inter-caste marriage involving dalit. The girl’s elder brother Tikaram BC has filed the complaint asking of maximum sentence to BC whom he accused of forcing the girl to elope with him. In similar incident, the family members of Kalpana BK, 15, filed a complaint of child marriage against Tej Bahadur Pariyar, 22, of Garirugha VDC-7. Pariyar was arrested by the police on April 28. In both cases, the girls have said that the marriage took place with their consent. This is the first time that such complaints of child marriage were filed. Adarsha KC रुकुम । ०७० वैशाख १५ गते बाफीकोट गाविस - ८ बस्ने १९ वर्षीय भरत बि.क विरुद्ध बालविवाह गरेको आरोपमा वैशाख १४ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दर्ता भएको छ । वैशाख १२ गते स्यालापाखा गाविस- ४ की १५ वर्षीया बिस्मती बिसीलाई भगाएर विवाह गरेको भन्दै माइती पक्षले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दर्ता गरेका हुन् । उजुरी दर्ता भएपछि प्रहरीले आरोपित वि.कलाई वैशाख १४ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । आरोपितलाई कानुन बमोजिम कारबाही प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाइने जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जानकारी दिएको छ । आरोपित पक्षले भने गाउँ घरमा सानै उमेरमा विवाह गर्ने संस्कार भएकाले केटाकेटीले मन पराएर विवाह गरेको बताएका छन् । साथै अन्तरजातीय विवाह भएका कारण बाल विवाहको आरोप लगाएर मुद्दा दर्ता गरेको दावी गरेका छन् । बालिकाका दाजु टीकाराम विसीले बहिनीको मन्जुरीबिना १५ वर्षीया बालिकालाई जबरजस्ती विवाह गर्न बाध्य गराउने भरत वि.कलाई मुलकी ऐन विहावारी महलको २ (३) नम्बर बमोजिम हदैसम्मको कारबाही गरिपाँउ भनि उजुरी दर्ता गरेका छन् । यसै गरी गरिरुघा गाविस-७ का २२ वर्षीय तेजबहादुर परियारले स्यालापाखा गाविस-३ की १५ वर्षीया कल्पना वि.कलाई वैशाख ११ गते बालविवाह गरेको भन्दै माइती पक्षले वैशाख १५ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दर्ता गरेका छन् । उजुरी दर्ता भएपश्चात जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले आरोपितलाई वैशाख १५ गते खलंगाबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । दुवै घटनामा आरेपितपक्षले आफूहरूको सहमतिमै विवाह भएको बताएका छन् । जिल्लामा बालविवाह मौलाइरहेको भए पनि यी घटनाहरू पहिलो पटक उजुरीको रुपमा दर्ता भएपछि केही हदसम्म रोकिने अधिकारकर्मीहरू भनाई रहेको छ । जिल्लामा पहिलो पटक बालविवाहको घटना दर्ता भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । आदर्श के.सी
