Locals Keshav Dahal and Raju Shrestha manhandled journalists Sanjiv Rai, Rajan Thatal, Diwas Rijal and Santosh Paudel on Saturday evening when they went to collect news about road construction in Ratnapark at Diktel Bazar.
Dahal and Shrestha assaulted the journalists accusing them of not listening to the woes of the locals and only writing news based on information provided by the municipality and the contractor.
