Attack Leaves One Injured

Wanchhu Sherpa, 23 of Baruneshwor VDC-9 has been injured when an unidentified gang attacked him on November 15.

The gang of three persons had attacked Sherpa by flaunting knives while he was staying at his home. Sherpa who sustained injuries to his nose has been undergoing treatment at Area Health Post in Rampur.

The gang had decamped after looting Rs 70,000 and a tola of gold from Sherpa's house, Achyut Chapagain, Inspector District Police Office said, adding that hunt for the absconded looters is underway.
