Party cadres stage sit-in infront of West Nawalparasi DAO

Various party leaders and cadres of West Nawalparasi have staged a sit-in at the main gate of District Administration Office, demanding a fair investigation into Nepali Congress West Nawalparasi Vice-President Subash Giri’s death. Cadres of CPN, Nepali Congress, Rastriya Janata Samajwadi Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Independent Political Group, Civil Society took part in the sit-in program from 11 am to 12 am.

Giri, (38), underwent a gallbladder operation at the Universal College of Medical Sciences in Bhairahawa on August 7. He was referred to Bhim Hospital, Rupandehi and then to Patan Hospital, Kathmandu, saying that he had infected with Coronavirus after the operation. He died at Patan Hospital on August 17 while undergoing treatment.

Congress leader and Province no. 5MP Baijnath Jaiswal said that the Universal College of Medical Sciences had made negligence by doing the operation of Giri without testing the corona and referring him by saying he was tested Corona positive after the operation.
