Three police personnel were injured after the locals of Tribeni Municipality-4 pelted stones at the police on September 7. The locals pelted stones while the police were taking drunken Narendra Saud of Ward No. 4 to the police station after a health check-up in Toli health post.
According to the Police Inspector Lokendra Singh Thagunna of District Police Office, Bajura, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Raghubir Badhu, Constable Narad Singh Bista and police cop Narendra Bohora were injured in the attack. The injured ASI Badhu is undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Bajura, while two others are undergoing treatment at Toli Health Post. Police said they have arrested three of the accused and four others were absconding after the incident.
