Sanjay Yadav, 23, of Ayodhyanagar9 has been arrested for his alleged involvement in raping a married woman, 22 of same locality on February 23.

Yadav was arrested as the victim filed a complaint at Golbazaar Area Police Office alleging that he had made an attempt to rape her while she had been returning home from her field on November 22, Badebabu Jha, SI at Golbazaar Area Police Office, said.

Necessary legal action will be initiated after investigation of the incident, police said. <
