Bara,balika balatkaarka farar aaropit giraftaar. Bara/May 9 Police have arrested two men who were absconding after being accused of murder and rape of a 6-year-old girl. Sanjiv Bikram Sah, 38, and Baiju Raut Mestar, 28, of of Kalaiya Municipality-6 were arrested on May 8 evening. The girl, hailing from Raxaul, India had been staying at her mother's maternal home. Police claimed that the girl was raped at Barewa Palace on April 11 after enticing her with a promise of a chocolate. Inspector Ramnath Ghimire said that drunk Sah had called the girl to the Palace and left her there after raping her. Mestar has been accused of abetting to the crime by taking the girl there. The girl's relatives began looking for her after she did not return even after the evening. She was found in unconscious state 200 meters west of the Palace at around mid night. The girl died at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, Birgunj while undergoing treatment. Police said that the causes of death was excessive bleeding and suffocation.
