Darchula/May 12 An FIR has been filed against three men at District Police Office on May 11 on charge of trying to rape three girls and a woman. Puskhar Singh Karki, 21, of VDC-5, Man Singh Badal of Hikila VDC-2 and Karan Samal of Hikila VDC-4 were accused of trying to rape three girls, aged, 14, 15 and 16 and a 25-year-old woman inside the traditional hut of water mill. They filed a complaint at Huti Police station on 5 which referred them to District Police Office, Inspector Narendra Bahadur Chand said. He added that the case came out late because the villagers tried to settle it within the village. The girls were taken to District Health Office, Darchula for treatment. Police said that the preliminary report showed two of them could have been raped.
