Police arrests 3 on the charge of human trafficking

Province 1, Morang, Biratnagar
Police on September 2 arrested 28-year-old Sumit Kumar Mandal of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-5, 20-year-old Pradip Kumar Mandal of Tilathikoiladi Rural Municipality-1 in Satptari, and 22-year-old Manika Dhakal of Letang-3 Sunsari, residing in Ramdhuni Municipality-5 Jhumka on the charge of attempting to traffic a 17-year-old girl to India.
According to police the accused tried to traffic the girl India through Islampur in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-17. An organization called Saana Haat Haru rescued the girl.
