38-year-old Kalasodevi Sah of Mirchaiya Municipality-2 filed a complaint against 34-year-old Binod Kaapari and Naresh Kumar Kaapari at Area Police Office Mirchaiya on September 21 accusing them of physically assaulting her on witchcraft allegation. According to the victim, the duo assaulted her by calling her to their home on September 18 after Binod Kaapari's wife fell ill.

They reportedly called her a witch and blamed her for the illness of Binod's wife and beat her. The police complaint was delayed as the victim who was injured in the assault was admitted to Bishnu Polyclinic for treatment. Police are looking for the assailants.
