Demonstrators have vandalized a vehicle in Butwal on Sunday for disobeying the Rupandehi strike called against the proposal to move the province capital. The protesters vandalized a vehicle of Broadband Nepal with a number plate (Lu 2 Cha 1074) at Horizon Chowk, Devinagar. JP Kandel, the operator of the vehicle, said the demonstrators vandalized the vehicle while they were on the way to provide a service of internet. Broadband Nepal has condemned the incident and demanded the compensation.
Demonstrations have been staging in Butwal as the Province 5 government has registered a proposal in the provincial assembly to make Deukhuri as the permanent capital of the province.
