Kavre/May 18 A complaint has been filed against Jitar Singh Tamang, 70, of Devitar VDC-9 at the District Police Office Dhulikhel on May 18 accusing him of trying to rape a 2-year-old girl. The complaint states that Tamang tried to rape the girl while she had gone to a public tap near home on May 15. When the family of the victim learnt about the incident, the accused had threatened them "to do what they can". According to the mother of the child, accused had tried to rape the girl at various occasions previously. Medical check-up of the child was performed in Dhulikhel hospital on May 18. DPO Dhulikhel said that police team had been dispatched at the site to arrest the accused.
