Youths take out torch rally demanding to make Kapilvastu the capital of province 5

On Sunday evening, around 200 youths staged a torch rally in Bodgaon of Banganga Municipality-8 demanding to announce Kapilvastu as the capital of province 5. While protests are taking place in Butwal and lamps are being lit in Dang, demonstrations have taken place in Kapilvastu.
The leaders and organizers are validating their protest on the grounds of the historical and religious importance as Kapilvastu was the capital of Lumbini when Suddhodhan (Father of Lord Budhha) was the king in the ancient times. They believe that Kapilvastu should be announced as the provincial capital to preserve the existence of the Budhha.
They further criticized the people's representatives of Kapilvastu and accused them of not being accountable to the district.
