The Kathmandu District Committee of NCP (Revolutionary Maoist) party staged a protest on October 10 against the indifference shown by the state to return the territory as per the actual map of Nepal and against the treacherous Millennium Challenge Cooperation (MCC) agreement at Chabahil Chowk, Kathmandu.

They protested with placards such as 'Let all patriotic Nepalis be one', 'we don't need a puppet government, you can't sell the country', 'we don't need MCC, you can't sell the country', 'Reject the treacherous MCC agreement'.
