31-year-old Binod Prasad Yadav of Auraiya in Suwarna Rural Municipality-5 lodged a complaint at District Police Office Bara on October 9 alleging the chairperson of ward-2 Ranjit Prasad Yadav and others for beating him when asking for some financial information from Suwarna Rural Municipality's office on October 8.
The victim went to demand the information about the activities carried out in the municipality on the current financial year. The victim was treated at Kalaiya Hospital on October 8 after sustaining neck and back injuries.
The main victim along with 32-year-old Birendra Prasad Yadav and 30-year old Kanhaiya Prasad Yadav of the same rural municipality lodged a complaint demanding treatment, compensation and action against the injured. The victim also alleged the accused for challenging him to take action and for threatening to kill him.
