The victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at district police office on May 12 accusing him of raping the girl on May 11 while she was alone at her home. The victim underwent a health checkup at Western regional hospital on May 18. The accused who was absconding after the incident was arrested by the police on May 19, said the DPO. S
