Police arrests member of Chand-led group on extortion charge in Arghakhanchi

Police arrested 20-year-old Bishnu BK of Malika Rural Municipality-2 Myagdi, a member of prohibited Netra Bikram Chand Biplov-led group on October 9 on the charge of extorting donations from construction businessmen.
According to DSP Kedar Raj Pant, the accused was arrested by the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi from Chhatradev Rural Municipality-6, Gahirapani and handed over to the District Police Office, Gulmi.
According to DSP Pant, BK was arrested on the basis of a tip-off about the incident and the accused has not been examined yet.
